Parks, Trails, and Trees Committee

The Parks, Trails and Trees Committee works with Public Works to identify new opportunities for outdoor activities in the Town of Platteville.  The Committee holds regular meetings at Town Hall on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.

The committee:

  • Identifies locations for new parks, trails, or open spaces.
  • Investigates additional features that could be added to existing parks.
  • Builds networks with other communities that have extensive parks, trails or open space properties or employ experts who may be able to offer valuable information to the Town.
