The Town has contracted with a company called C & L Water Solutions to complete sewer slip lining from Monday, December 1st to Wednesday, December 3rd.  The areas of town in which the slip lining will be completed includes the 500 & 600 blocks of Elizabeth Avenue, Marion Avenue, and Goodrich Avenue.  All residents located in these blocks will receive door hanger notices starting tomorrow and also receive a 24-hour notice the day before the work will be done.  The slip lining will be completed in the alleys so street traffic should not be impacted while this work is being completed.  Residents in these areas will be asked to reduce the use of wastewater, such as water used for showers, washing dishes and laundry, along with flushing toilets, in their homes while the slip lining is being completed.  Slip lining involves the installation of a new plastic lining inside the existing sewer lines that are in the alleys in these areas to improve the flow of wastewater and reduce maintenance issues.  The Town appreciates everyone's cooperation and understanding while this work is being completed.  Please contact Town Hall with any questions or concerns if needed.  Next week Town Hall will be closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday.  Thank you.
