Fitness Center
Get your heart pumping and muscles working in our state-of-the-art fitness center. Equipped with 2 ellipticals, 1 upright bike, 1 recumbent bike, 1 ARC Trainer, 1 Stair Master, 2 treadmills, weight machines, kettlebells, and free weights, our fitness center is open 7 days a week from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm. To become a member, reach out to our dedicated Recreation staff at 720-815-8136 or visit the Senior Center Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Senior Center
Join us at the Platteville Senior Center, open most days from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, for a variety of engaging activities tailored for our senior community.
Community Center
Host to a plethora of classes from Tae Kwon Do to dance and senior exercise sessions, the Platteville Community Center is a hub of activity. This versatile space is also available for private rentals. For more information on rentals, contact the Platteville Town Hall at 970-785-2245.
Recreation Events

Adult Activities
Indulge in our range of adult activities tailored for participants aged 18 and above. Dive into the competitive spirit with our diverse sporting leagues including Cornhole, Coed Volleyball, Grass Volleyball, 1-Pitch Softball, and Horseshoes. Unleash your creativity and unwind with our selection of Paint and Sip Classes offered throughout the year. Join us for exhilarating games and artistic endeavors, perfect for fostering connections.
Youth Sports
Platteville Recreation is proud to offer a diverse range of sports for children aged 4 to 18. From soccer to volleyball, flag football to basketball, our programs are designed to foster teamwork and skill development in a fun and supportive environment. Learn more about each sport. For Volleyball and Basketball practices are held at Platteville Elementary or South Valley Middle School. For Softball, Baseball, Tee Ball, Coach Pitch, Soccer and Flag Football practices can be held at the Community Center Complex or at one of our local parks in town.
We participate in the Tri Valley Little Ballers (TVLB) League for our preschool-Kindergarten age participants for Flag Football, Soccer, Tee Ball and Coach Pitch. For our participants in grades 3rd-8th grade we participate in the Northern Valley Athletic Association (NVAA) for Spring/Fall Volleyball, Spring Soccer, Basketball.
